![]() Sad News: my guitars have been stolen in Wellington. There is a hefty reward for the return of the 0021 Martin Guitar (1955) Serial #144442. It has a repair on the front of the body, right bottom end. Slotted head, 12 fret. Tortoise shell pick guard, Grover tuners, rosewood fingerboard, spruce top, Brazilian hardwood back. Accessories include a black Martin strap, a black case with stickers on saying "Arcata Music' "Wildwood music' "Wild women sing the blues', a Korg tuner and Kyser capo. Also missing is the Gretsch Duo Jet (re-issue 1957) Serial #2400101. Black and white electric with a Bigsby ‘whammy’ bar, floating bridge, with a red velvet strap, in a heavy duty black guitar case with the name Gretsch on the bottom front. Carol has been performing lately with the iconic bluesman Dave Murphy. At the Rotorua Blues Festival she said: "I love playing that Piedmont style pickin blues with Dave- he's a machine".
